Global Action Project has several successful alumni. Check out the stories below to see our alumni talk about the impact GAP had on them.

GAP Alum Sabina, talks about why GAP has had an impact on her.

GAP is a village that has given me strength, clarity in a time in my life where I lacked structure and focus. Facing adversity in my life with little hope for my future, GAP gave me a channel to inspire others. I have been inspired to tell my story, and this gave me the tools to navigate the real world today as an adult. The wisdom and love gave me purpose at the darkest times in my life.
— Chardyna, Supafriends member 2010, now at New York Care at Home
GAP has introduced me to a community of people who believe and work towards a better world, every single day. I acquired through the GAP curriculum, and its dedicated media educators, the confidence to pursue internships and job opportunities that have changed my life for the better.
— Corina, GAP youth 2003-08, Board member since 2014, now at Planned Parenthood Federation of America
GAP set the course for my interest and life long involvement in social justice, minority communities and activism.
— Kari, now a Freelance Journalist and Health Educator at the Chinese-American Planning Council
GAP challenged me to think more broadly about the issues that impacted my life. GAP provided both a language, and an outlet (media to be specific) to challenge dominant ideas and also prepare me for what was coming next after my term at GAP.
— Ahalia, 2010-11 Urban Voices alumn, now at the Brooklyn Public Library
